As I explain in the video, the plugin does not seem to do anything, that is because once activated, it starts looking for visitors from search engines, and on the criteria outlined in the plugin, it will not start showing anything until it has something relevant to show.

No, not at the moment, but if I get more requests for it, I can implement it so you can use it in a non-widget enabled blog.
Actually, I am working on a new version right now, and I have already implemented the functionality you asked for… It will be in the next release (if the testing works out)
